Yeah, I know it's been around for a while, but for those who don't know, Last.fm is a social music site. Every time you play a song in your favorite player, it gets "scrobbled" into a database. It learns from the tags of that music (users tag songs, artists, etc.) what kind of music you like, and creates a custom radio station, just for you. Last.fm also matches you up with other users with similar tastes, finds music that you may like but don't know of, and gives you info about your artists. Join discussion...

The newest version of Amarok, 1.4.6, was released a bit back. I've been running it on my Kubuntu install, and as always, it's a smooth release. This version also has a new icon set, with colors taken from the Oxygen color pallet. Join discussion...
